So Cheryl comes home from the store and proudly announces, "Joshua is now in Size 4 Diapers!" She was apparently very proud of her little boy's moving up in the world.

My response - "Great, so what are we supposed to do with those two cases of Size 3 diapers you bought last week that are sitting in the garage?"

I bet we could still squeeze him into them. We could use duct tape or something to make them fit. There was no way we were gonna waste 96 whole perfectly good, if a tiny bit too small, diapers. What, did he gain 10 pounds overnight and will no longer fit in Size 3? Don't they make Size 3 ½ diapers? They do that with shoes don't they? (That's another thing kids outgrow that are a big waste, but don't get me started).
