The going gets tough

This isn’t working. Legs are just too sore. I need to figure out why my legs won’t recover quickly, because I’m just not able to run enough to improve. It is frustrating to always feel like I am trying to build a base even though I should be entering my peak fitness phase with 5 weeks to Ironman! Doubts are there… maybe I’m just not a runner. I’ve got short legs and that’s fine for football, soccer and cycling but not for long distance running… I’ve certainly got my work cut out for me.
